Learning Classical Architecture: The Full Tuscan Column.
Pedestal, Column and Entablature.
Drawing done using reference from a youtube channel called: “Architectural
Orders”. Videos are based on the measurements of Giacomo Barozzi da Vignola.
To create a measured drawing, use the Tuscan modules found
above, below and along the side. To calculate the Tuscan module, see The Tuscan
Order on a previous post or check the above referenced youtube channel.
Learning the Classical Orders on my own is proving to be a
little difficult. While there is a lot
of information out there, I haven’t been able to find a “one-stop shopping”
place to find it all. As I learn it myself, I’d like to make all of the
information I find available in one place.
